Complete Protection is a leading home warranty company with the potential to save you a significant amount of money on your home appliances each year.
On average, most homeowners spend roughly 1% of their home’s value each year on routine maintenance. So a $200,000 house will likely require about $2,000 a year of upkeep and a $300,000 house about $3,000. But if you live in a climate that swings back and forth between extremes, you could easily pay more. It’s a lot of money, but to get Complete Protection’s full house protection only costs $720 a year.

Complete Protection Warranty Plans
A home warranty protection plan protects your wallet in the case of an unexpected failure in your home. If an item stops working from normal wear and tear, a warranty will cover the costs to repair or replace it.
Normal homeowners insurance does not cover the repair of household appliances or items. To protect both the inside and outside of your home, you need both homeowners insurance and a home warranty plan. This way, you are covered for anything that goes wrong inside or outside.
Complete Protection offers five plans to suit your home warranty needs.
Option 1: Kitchen and Laundry ($32/Month)
With a kitchen and laundry protection plan, you get no-deductible coverage on the following items:
This is a popular protection plan as these items are some of the most likely items to fail in any household. For many homes, the average lifespan of the above appliances is about five years or less and the cost to replace all of them can easily exceed $4,000. Five years of kitchen and laundry protection will only run you $1,920. This simple math can add up to big savings.
Option 2: Heating and Cooling ($34/Month)
The Heating and Cooling plan gets you no-deductible coverage on your AC, furnace, and water heater. With this price, you also get preventative maintenance once a year at no extra cost. If you have ever had any of these items go out on you, you know that the price to repair them can easily eat into an entire paycheck, if not your savings. $34 a month is a bargain for a little peace of mind.
Option 3: Basic Built-Ins ($40/Month)
The Basic Built-Ins offers no-deductible coverage on all of the following:
- Water Heater
Option 4: Full House ($50/Month)
Full House coverage gets you no-deductible coverage on:
- Water Heater
Option 5: Full House Plus ($60/Month)
For $10 more a month, you get everything listed in the Full House coverage plan:
- Water Heater
Plus you get coverage on:
- Inbound Pipes
- Electrical Wires
All of the most likely things to go wrong in your house year to year are covered with the Full House Plus plan.

To begin a claim process with Complete Protection you can either call or start it online. Both options are available to you 24/7, 365 days a year. Once you do, you’ll be given a unique number to initiate repairs or replacement. What comes next depends on whether you want to use an in-network or out-of-network service provider.
Using an In-Network Service Provider
Once your claim has been submitted, you’ll be given a unique authorization number by a Complete Protection representative. Then you call a service provider that is in the Complete Protection network and make an appointment. All payments are thereafter handled by Complete Protection. The technician that comes to your house talks directly with Complete Protection, you’re not responsible for any deductibles.
Using an Out-of-Network Service Provider
As long as the provider is licensed, Complete Protection is more than willing to work with them. When you get an authorization number, just be sure to tell the Complete Protection representative you’re using your own people.
The representative will give you a new override number. Once all repairs are complete, the technician then bills Complete Protection directly using the override number. If they bill you instead, Complete Protection will reimburse you the complete amount.
Complete Protection beats out is competition a number of ways. Here are but a few of the reasons why:
No deductible. Most home warranty companies charge a monthly rate and a service fee when you need someone to look at your home. Complete Protection doesn’t do that.
No exclusions. Does your appliance have rust or has clearly needed work for a long time? It can still be covered by your home warranty.
Use your service provider. As long as the provider is licensed, Complete Protection will write them a check.
Someone is always on call. Day or night, you can always reach someone at Complete Protection.
Award winning service. A+ from the Better Business Bureau; Super Service award twice from Angie’s List.
No-Cost Preventive Service: This is included with your membership. Most other warranties require you to not only do preventative maintenance but to also pay for it out of your own pocket.
Multiple Payment Options: Can’t pay for an entire year all at once? Complete Protection doesn’t expect you to. It offers multiple payment options to suit your budget.
How to Get a Quote from Complete Protection
Requesting a quote from Complete Protection is easy. Fill out a simple online form with your contact information, as well as some details on your home warranty needs. You can select appliances that you’re interested in covering as well as if you have a rental property or high-end appliances.
Is Complete Protection Right for You?
You may have heard of home sellers offering home warranties to home buyers for the first year of ownership. It can be a great way to sway potential home buyers and give them peace of mind.
Another time a home warranty is a good idea is when your monthly budget and savings can’t handle a sudden large repair cost. A sudden $500 bill would force many Americans to charge the entire cost.
Rather than pay monthly interest until you could pay off the credit card, a home warranty will cover you for the entire amount. For most people, it’s a smarter investment to put their money into a home warranty plan rather than pay the cost of a sudden, unexpected $2,000 repair.
With Complete Protection, you can choose the plan that most works for you. You always know exactly what you’re going to pay and if you need to add on an item yet want to stay in a specific plan, it’s easy to do so.
Perhaps what stands out the most for it is the free preventative service. At no extra cost, your covered items are inspected once a year to keep them running smoothly. Most other companies expect you to do this, plus expect you to pay for it yourself.
